    Original 2-sided page from Frank Leslie'
    s 1893 "The Soldier in Our Civil War." Page 38 shows wood cut scene on the floating battle in Charleston harbor during bombardment of Ft. Sumter.  On reverse (page 37) is picture of Edmund Ruffin of Virginia,  who fired1st shot on Ft. Sumter to start the Civil War. (He committed suicide in 1865.) Pages are intact with some top and bottom border yellowing, foxing and edge tears.  See photos.  Ready to be framed or colorized.  Printed on glazed paper. Page is 10.75"W x 16"H.  (20-0603)
