Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Vintage - Henry Birks & Son, Sterling Silver - Early to Mid 1940's - 7" Floral Etch Silver Sugar Castor.
113.7 Grams - Excellent Condition! - No Reserve!
This graceful and elegant castor dates from the early to mid 1940's, of North American make and origin, made by or for Henry Birks & Son, fashioned as a 7" silver sugar castor detailed with an intricate surrounding floral etch with applied silver bead borders. The castor is solid and heavy wit a silver weight of 113.7 grams.
The castor is excellent condition showing little wear other than normal use with no rubbing or wear to the design or details and no damage, repair or restoration, only in need of a good polishing - the castor is monogrammed on the front with the initials 'FG' which can be buffed off if desired.
The castor is marked and stamped on the bottom with a series of Canadian silver hallmarks,  BIRKS and Sterling.
As I usually do I'm offering this item at a LOW opening with NO RESERVE.
