This is the complete issue of the Philadelphia Daily News, December 7, 1864. It is an original and complete as issued 4 page CIVIL WAR newspaper from 1864 in very good condition. It was printed on a heavy rag/cotton paper so it is not at all brittle to the touch and can be read/researched without damage and is still adjoined at the spine! This particular issue contains the Third Annual Message of Abraham Lincoln President of the United States which takes up most of the front page! This is a very rare, significant and historic issue!
