This original New York Tribune from August 22, 1864 (Vol 24, No. 7294) is printed on the rough linen and cotton rag paper of the time.  It is 8 pages long.  The print is crisp and clear.  The page edges are slightly ragged as shown in the photos.  It is a solid, complete and totally readable newspaper.

1. Updates from Grant's Army around Petersburg VA during the siege of that city.
2. Naval updates from Admiral Farragut's progress at Mobile Bay, Alabama.
