WITH PERSONALIZED PLATE
Up for sale is a pre-owned embosser from Marshall Field in a light blue color.
The embosser is marked "Official" K-O Desk on the handles, and the plate is stamped "Pirouette Seal. " The current plates in the embosser are rectangular in shape.  The plates have sides marked bottom and top and are reversible depending on whether you are creating the monogram from the bottom (as on an envelope flap) or from the top, as on a piece of stationery.
The plates that are currently on the embosser have already been personalized with the monogram initials SJN, with J being the larger initial for the last name, and the S/N for the first and middle initials. Please see the photos provided of the current plate and the stamp it produces.  It is likely you will want to replace these with personalized plates of your own but I am leaving them in the embosser so you can determine the proper size for replacements. I suspect a good stationery store can assist with this.
The embosser has removeable plates that are designed to be personalized and interchangeable.  The Official KO embossers are still available for purchase, but
I will leave it to the buyer to determine if replacement plates are currently available for this model. The embosser is approximately 50+ years old.  It is in excellent condition and has rarely been used. The rubber feet are intact and in good condition. There are a few stray markings on the finish but no mechanical defects to note. Comes with the original box.
