I am calling this an Acrylic Desktop Organizer - I am not sure what the intended purpose of this was for,  It makes a great Desk Organizer - You can set it on the desk large surface side down or stand on end.  There are 6 compartments with 5 shelves that slide in and out with open spaces.  Originally ,99 from the Container Store.  SIZE:  10" Tall x 10" deep x 5" wide
