    This is an original page from Harper's Weekly dated April 1, 1865 showing Sherman's army marching into Columbia, South Carolina. This single page measures 11 by 16 inches. The sketch is hand painted showing nice color being clean and bright. The scene takes over half the page and would look great framed. The paper is slightly yellowed from age. There is a spot at the bottom that can be seen in the attached photos. There is full text on the reverse. The page is strong and solid. It comes in plastic wrap and board backing.
