    Description

    A beautiful antique Gorham sterling silver creamer and open sugar bowl set in pattern #2815, late-nineteenth century. Both feature elaborate repousse decoration with various blooming flowers. Creamer measures approx. 2.75"h x 5"l x 3.75"w, sugar bowl 2.5"h x 5.25"l x 4"w. Their total combined weight is approx. 297g/10.4oz. They are both in fair antique condition, displaying general surface wear commensurate with age/use, including light tarnish and surface scratches, the creamer having a dent to its handle, what appear to be three or four subtle dents to its body (not obvious due to the repousse design), and a slight distortion to its foot, the sugar bowl also having some of these potential, subtle dents to its body, and both pieces having a few small dings/dents to their base underside - see pictures. Both are stamped on base underside with faint Gorham hallmarks, "2815," "STERLING," and the 1885 wolf/boar head Gorham date mark. An incredible pair of antique Gorham!
