ANTIQUE GORHAM STERLING SILVER HELMET CREAM JUG CREAMER

Description

Lovely antique Gorham sterling silver helmet creamer, or cream jug.  Fully hallmarked for Gorham, sterling, and the date mark of a double knot for 1894.  There are two cartouches, one on each side, one of which is vacant and the other is monogramed as shown, "1897-1922" with a letter between the letters.  Nice reeded rim on top and pedestal oval foot that sits flat and the creamer sits straight with no wobble.  Condition is excellent, with no damage or repairs, only the very light marks of polishing through the years.
