from early 20th Century in elegant Art Deco style.

Antique French Sterling Silver Milk Pot/Creamer
finely created by Gambert & Bibollet, active 1913-1924, Paris. This is a lovely
égoïste
size creamer in elegant Art Deco style crisp design. A baluster shaped body is standing on round pedestal feet, having uniquely shaped spout on the top.
Hallmarked
French Mercure 1st Standard
mark (
Tête de Mercure
) to guaranteed .950 purity sterling silver (higher than standard .925 sterling silver) for exportation, used in Paris since 1878. Maker's mark GB with lion in lozenge shape, for Gambert & Bibollet, active 1913-1924.
