    Description

Antique Bronze Wax Seal French circa 1860 *Rare.
*Reason I state used is that this is an Antique with natural patina, it's never been used as stated in description that the stone was never engraved.
This beautiful unique Antique C1860 Wax Stamp Seal was A commissioned piece…..one-of-a-kind! Made by Alphonse Giroux, "the merchant of the princes", is an important Parisian manufacturer of luxury furniture and accessories, whose products were intended for an aristocratic and bourgeois clientele, installed as early as 1799. These are adorned with four Medieval “Knights”.
This is in it’s original condition as we purchased it years ago at an antique show, it’s very rare very valuable piece. We are offering this below our original cost and is a great value for this rate one of a kind piece. This measures 3-3/4” L x 1-1/8” W at the Widest portion. I have more photos available that I couldn’t insert so message me if you care to see more.
This has a carnelian stone that was never engraved with a monogram! So you can personalize this with your own. Non-engraved stone- make it your own design with a family crest or monogram. Just find a engraver who has experience in engraving in stones. Or just display this amazing unique piece! This is all originally condition we never cleaned or polished it as you can if you so choose but we like to keep antiques in their original condition and this one has great patina. I believe this metal is bronze and silver not sure buts it’s weighty, this is what we were told at time of purchase.  If you like it shiny this would clean up beautifully. The box as shown is broken at back closure all original.
