    Description

Antique 1890 Wileman and Company Pre-Shelley Rare Alexandra Bird’s Beak Hand Painted Creamer.  This 19th C. creamer is in nearly new condition!  No damage or staining. Just a little wear of the gold trim on rim and handle. This great antique piece is clean inside and out.  Enamel paint colors are still vibrant on this hand painted piece from Wileman and Co. in England.  Top of creamer is in the shape of a "bird's beak".  The fluted top shape is known as the "Alexandria" shape.  In the last picture above, one can see the Crown above "W over C" for Wileman potteries (Shelley).  The rd # 60650, dates it to 1889-1890.  The pattern or talley number is 3730.  It is 3.5" tall and 4" wide at widest point.  There is a slightly later version done in blue and red, which is in the City Museum and Art Gallery in Stoke-on-Trent, England.
