    Description

Presented is a wonderful quality English Georgian sterling silver creamer, dated
1809. The creamer is well made in a handsome, classical form, with a wide, squat
body and ball form feet. The interior has a gold wash, to protect the silver
from pitting. Could also be used as a gravy boat, too.
This piece is hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the
leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter O for 1809, the
duty stamp of King George III's head, and a maker's mark which is unfortunately
    too worn to read.
This piece is in great overall condition. The front, well beneath the spout,
has three small dents which are hard to notice as they are low on the body.
Otherwise the creamer is in great shape, has no other dents, no splits, no
monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The creamer measures about 5 ½ inches from handle to spout and stands about 3
3/8 inches tall at the highest point.
The creamer weighs 150 grams or 5.3 regular ounces.
